What a weekend!

Wow!! Lucy over at My Sketch World put on an awesome 2nd blog-a-versary crop this weekend! I'm actually amazed at how much I was able to get accomplished!! So much fun!!

Good week!

Wow, what a week it has been for me!! First, I found out this week that I was chosen to be on the card design team at My Sketch World!!!! I am so excited! This will be my first design team!

I also found out that I won Mary's RAK!! Thank you so much Mary! She offered a super RAK and I'm excited to get it!!

Oh,also, in honor of My Sketch Word's second annniversary, we're having a crop this weekend! Head on over to her new forum, My Sketch World and check out the new forum and play along in the crop! There will be lots of fun challenges, games and make and takes!

Special Weekend Over at Sassy Scrappers!

This weekend Sassy's Scrappers is devoting their weekend crop and chat to a very special member who sadly and suddenly passed very recently. Janice Nielson was a wonderful lady whose work reflected the love of her family. There are plenty of challenges to work on this weekend based on the many wonderful layouts from Janice. Pop on in and work on some challenges and get a chance to win a wonderful card kit from Steph!

Some favorite layouts

I think I've been desperately trying to achieve this year is organization! I've been going through all my pictures on my computer and organizing them. Then I decided it was time to update my slideshows on my blogs. I really accomplished a lot in the way of layouts in 2008, so I decided to showcase all of them! When I look at them, it's so hard to pick just 1 favorite, each one tells a different story. But if I had to choose a couple, these would be it:




Looking back at my layouts, it's clear to see what technique I love....distressing! On this second layout, I used paint, which I don't do very often, and I really loved the look I got with it!
