My husband bought me a Cuttlebug this past Christmas just because I had to have it. I had bought some dies and played around with it, but it wasn't until I bought my first embossing folder that I realized that I love this little machine!! I've only got 2 so far, but they really can dress up a card or layout! I may not buy a whole lot of dies for this, but I'm definitely going to invest in some more embossing folders! It's amazing how much of an impact embossing can make!! Here's a card that I recently made using my swirl embossing folder.
This next layout I did for a challenge on Serendipity Scrapbooks . The challenge was to create a layout using only cardstock. The embossing folder was perfect for this!! I gave plain cardstock dimension and made it pop!
I also want to thank everyone for their well wishes concerning my dad. It means a lot!

I TOTALLY agree with you about the Cuttlebug! I've invested HEAVILY in the large embossing folders! I love them! I've posted so many cards using the folders, because I just can't get enough! I love your card! Totally pretty! Great layout too! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and posting a comment. I'm going to look around some more.
i am tempted by the cuttlebug for EXACTLY the same reason! diecutting is cool...but those embossing folders...!! (and the craving is especially strong when i see VERY COOL CARDS made with c-bug embossing...like, say THIS ONE!) :)
